User Journey MapSat April 7 2024
In this part, I used user journey map to detail the key touch points where young women face appearance anxiety and body dissatisfaction while using Instagram. Specifically, I first identified the key stages of user interaction, such as logging into social media, browsing posts, receiving notifications, posting content, and receiving feedback (like "likes" and comments). I used simple and intuitive cartoons to record the experiences at different stages, clearly identifying the psychological and emotional changes at each stage of the user journey. This helped me pinpoint the key pain points and mark potential opportunities for improvement. This also directly guided how my prototype design would intervene in the related challenges, providing improvement.
